I address you on behalf of _______ with the request for urgent support of Ukrainian professionals.
As you know, today, Ukraine stands strong and defends the Western world’s Eastern frontier. Meanwhile, Russian military forces are heavily bombing and strikes our peaceful cities. Over a million people were forced to flee from Ukraine, leaving their homes and workplaces because of threatening life danger.
Among those Ukrainian refugees are also holders of top-level US and Western Europe universities’ education. Together with their families, most of them are currently sheltered by friends or former colleagues from their studies abroad. Since the invasion was sudden and brutal, they didn’t have enough time to prepare for this life-changing transition.
Currently, we are making a great effort to keep in touch with them and provide assistance during this critical time. Thus, we ask you to join our Open call for help from the Western universities alumni, clubs, and professional associations in the democratic West.
